The Power of Music and Imagery to Enhance Fertility
 

In 2009, Fraser Davis Press published my book, Hopeful Heart, Peaceful Mind: Managing Infertility. I wrote the book to address the challenges that couples and individuals experience during infertility and to provide practical solutions for managing them. I discuss ways for couples to experience intimacy and rekindle the pleasurable sex they shared before infertility. They will learn how to communicate effectively as they make important decisions about medical treatment and whether to share information with family and friends. Each chapter contains personal stories from my psychotherapy clients and support groups. These stories are intended to provide wisdom and inspiration. 

As an infertility counselor and author, I blend traditional psychotherapy and alternative treatments. My book explains various techniques to practice and incorporate into daily life to improve physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and create inner peace. These practices include yoga, relaxation, visualization, meditation, mindful breathing, and music evoked imagery. 

I encourage family members and friends to read this book so they can become educated about infertility and learn how to best give support and comfort. This innovative and informative book should be sitting on the bedside table of the 7.3 million people who are experiencing infertility to give them what they most yearn for during their journey to build a family—a Hopeful Heart, a Peaceful Mind and the practices to promote health and healing.
